Established in 1960, Green Island rum is the best-known and most widely exported Mauritian rum. It is distilled from molasses using a four column process and is blended from rums aged 3-5 five years. Charcoal filtration is used to remove the colour imparted by ageing and to purify the rum.

Hint of grassiness, aniseed and faint toffee/fudge.
Dry, light, clean palate with subtle notes of fennel, coconut and toffee.
Finishes with hints of peppermint and milk chocolate.
