Arakú is a rum-based coffee liqueur named after Venezuela's State of Aragua, home to the Santa Teresa distillery. The rums used in the blend are aged for two years in ex-bourbon casks.

Appearance:

Opaque, almost crude oil-like tawny brown.

Aroma:

Pungent, heavily roasted/burnt coffee bean.

Taste:

Brutish, bitter sweet, slightly syrupy, full-0ne espresso coffee palate with rum and vanilla supportive onlookers.

Aftertaste:

Long, bitter chocolate, espresso and mocha coffee finish, fading with peppery chocolate spice.
