Product of: Italy
Acqua di Cedro is a liqueur made with Cedro lemons and is not dissimilar to limoncello but with a crystalline appearance. Despite being made by Nardini who are famous for grappa, this liqueur is based on Italian grain neutral spirit and does not contain grappa.
Named after Citron Medica, a lemon-like variety of citrus fruit which contains very little juice, Acqua di Cedro is flavoured by steeping the thick peel of the fruit in alcohol.

Superbly clean aromatic lemon zest oils and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Lemon pie filling and freshly zested lemon oils. Syrupy and not as intense as the nose suggests.
Lingering freshly expressed lemon oils.
