Originally named ‘Angostura Gold’ and launched in 2002, this five year old rum from Trinidad is blended from light and heavy molasses-based rums.

Clear, golden amber.
Fresh passion fruit, cherries, toasted almond, Bakewell tart, caramel and muscovado sugar with very faint empty plastic food box.
Cedar, spice, passion fruit, dried apricot and zesty ruby grapefruit. More subtle hints of char-grilled pineapple, vanilla and tar.
Slightly bitter with citrus, tar, passion fruit and vanilla.
Medium-bodied, soft and rich. April 2016 saw the introduction of a new label and with it a much improved version of this rum, particularly on the nose with fresh passion fruit, cherries, toasted almond, Bakewell tart, caramel and muscovado sugar.
