A charcoal filtered, cask aged three-year-old white rum from the famous Diamond Distillery on the east bank of the mighty Demerara River, just six degrees off the equator in Guyana's tropical heat.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Nutty, butter with the merest hint of swimming pool-like pineapple/citrus and blue cheese (in a good way).

Taste:

Quite sweet with nutty flavours and a hint of the blue cheese found on the nose, this time served with a hint of fresh sweet mint, chocolate and butterscotch. Light peppery spice.

Aftertaste:

A pleasingly characterful and soft light rum.

Overall:

Mellow and slightly sweet with characterful notes of mint, chocolate, butterscotch and blue cheese.
