This wheat beer is not only alcohol-free but also has 40 per cent fewer calories than its alcoholic equivalent. (This may help to explain why it scored so badly in our tasting.)

Review and Tasting

Sampled on 17/12/2011

Appearance:

Cloudy, rust orange with a huge head.

Aroma:

Yeasty nose with confectioner's peach, blackened banana and clove spice. Slight whiff of wet cardboard.

Taste:

The unpleasant palate is reminiscent of the third water from a mashtun with mild clove spice.

Aftertaste:

Lasts only-too long.
