This pale ale was originally brewed exclusively for the National Trust using Wye Target hops from their Little Scotney Farm in the grounds of the 14th century Scotney Castle. It is brewed at the Westerham Brewery which also lies on National Trust property at Crockham Grange Farm.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery amber with a short lived medium off-white head.

Aroma:

Grass cuttings and caramel with earthy whiffs of fruity hot-cross-buns with faint orange zest.

Taste:

Medium-bodied, moderately bitter citrusy palate with resinous hops.

Aftertaste:

Malty, pine hops finish.
