Review and Tasting

Sampled on 25/03/2012

Appearance:

Clear but with some yeast sedimentation, dark coppery amber with thin but lasting white.

Aroma:

Lightly nutty caramel malt with faint dark berry fruitiness (crème de cassis).

Taste:

An easy drinking sessionable bitter with a touch of sweetness and enough flavour to remain interesting. Great balance of caramel malt, bitter hops and sweet fruity flavours.

Aftertaste:

Long lasting finish balances pine hop bitterness with lasting fruity malt sweetness.
