Bols Coconut is made by blending a rum distillate with a creamy coconut extract and sugar. The name is derived from the 16th century Portuguese and Spanish word 'cocos', meaning 'grinning face', from the three small holes on the coconut shell that resemble human facial features.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Desiccated coconut, sun cream and a touch of swimming pool (in a 'fresh', rather than a negative way)

Taste:

Soft, light coconut palate (desiccated and macaroon) with powdered sugar.

Aftertaste:

Delicate lingering pure coconut flavours.
