(year: 2011, batch: 19, bottle 1452) Clear, coppery amber forming tight beads with slow falling thin legs.
Corn, vanilla, roasted nuts and inside of an old oak wardrobe with buttery nubuck leather, caramel and freshly baked bread. Nose becomes more toasty as it is left to open.
Corn, oak, acorn and leathery vanilla flavours fight for attention. Nothing restrained or finessed about this baby. The heavy oak influence adds bitter tannins and a ginger spice note.
Caramel and dry oak with gentle ginger, pepper and clove spice, lingering old leather.
