Mozart is an Austrian nougat-chocolate, vanilla and kirsch liqueur first created in 1979 and exported in 1981.
Production starts with the raw ingredients of cocoa (special blend from West Africa), sugar beet, and Bourbon vanilla, which are also the base ingredients for producing chocolate. The cream used is a special blend from the Netherlands spiked with cocoa butter.
Review and Tasting
Sampled on 30/03/2023
Appearance:
Opaque, slightly powdery consistency. Deep chocolate brown.
Aroma:
Cherry, vanilla and creamy chocolate. Like opening a box of chocolates.
Taste:
Considering the low alcohol strength the palate is surprisingly spirited with an obvious influence of kirsch. Rich, creamy and mouth-coating, but not overly sweet, with luscious chocolate.
Aftertaste:
Nougat-chocolate and spirity kirsch.
