Sampled on 30/05/2012

Appearance:

(bbd 12-Feb-15) Cloudy, chestnut reddish brown with thick head and heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Heavily toasted malt, caramel and brown sugar with alcohol and herbal hops.

Taste:

Barley wine-like huge palate with burned malts, brown sugar, pine hops and a hefty wack of alcohol.

Aftertaste:

Lingering burnt toast charcoal and liquorice finish. Hard core as beers go.
