Review and Tasting
Sampled on 08/05/2013
Appearance:
(2011 vintage, bbd 02.04.16) Slight chill haze, bright coppery amber with thin quickly disappearing head.
Aroma:
Pungent honey, pear skins, malted loaf with pear drop sweets and coriander.
Taste:
Full bodied with rich honey, pear skin and light herbal notes with a punch of spicy alcohol.
Aftertaste:
Malty spice with lingering pear skin and faint pear drops. One for connoisseurs of powerful beers indeed.
