This IPA from Kernel Brewery is hopped with a new Australian hop called Stella so we think you’ll agree is very aptly named.

Sampled on 25/06/2012

Appearance:

(bottled 16.05.12, bbd 16.09.12) Cloudy, orange/rusty amber with a thin but retentive white head.

Aroma:

Zesty orange citrus, pineapple and raspberry with pungent pine resins.

Taste:

Tangerine and tropical fruit with bitter resinous pine hops and drying cedar wood. Faint pastry covered apricots.

Aftertaste:

Long lingering pine bitterness and ruby grapefruit citrus tartness.
