Bermondsey Gin is made to a very traditional juniper forward style. It is a true London distilled dry gin made to a recipe from the 1800s so does not include cucumber, rose, grains of paradise or any of the other 'contemporary' gin botanicals. Initially made by Thames Distillers over the years...
we found some batches of Jensen's Gin disappointing, not living up to the first spectacular 2005 bottling. However, in February 2015 production moved to the gin's own dedicated distillery in London's Bermondsey with a new label design introduced at the same time.
