The Pilavas family have been distilling ouzo for three generations, since the company was established in 1940 by Nikos Pilavas. Pilavas ouzo is rested in stainless-steel vats for 2-3 months after distillation.
Review and Tasting

Appearance:
Crystal clear. Louches with addition of water to turn milky grey-white.
Aroma:
Clean but subdued liquorice nose compared to other ouzos sampled.
Taste:
One of the sweeter ouzos on the palate with delicate liquorice flavours.
Aftertaste:
Perhaps lacks depth but does have a good, clean, likable liquorice flavour.
