Developed in 1899 by a German Brewmaster working at the 'El Salto del Agua' (The Water Spring) brewery near Mexico City. Originally named 'El Sol' in 1924 the brand name was changed to simply 'Sol', Spanish for Sun.


Review and Tasting

Appearance:

Clear, light golden with moderately well lasting one finger white head.

Aroma:

Breakfast muesli and sweet corn.

Taste:

Very light bodied and slightly sweet with a flavour reminiscent of the muesli and sweet corn nose.

Aftertaste:

Short and feeble sweet muesli.
