Taking its name from the Flemish Freedom Fighters during the Peasants War this Belgian Strong Pale Ale is brewed by Van Honsebrouck and originates in Ingelmunster. Available all year round it is made by using mild hops and crafted by top fermentation.

Appearance:

(best before Dec-14) Clear, mid golden with a huge white long lasting head with heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Overripe banana, butterscotch, fudge and hay with freshly baked fruit cake.

Taste:

Wonderfully malty, doughy wholemeal bread, sour plum fruit with burnt raisins, caramel and walnut bitterness.

Aftertaste:

Earthy malt, yeasty finish.
