Appearance:
Clear, golden amber.
Aroma:
Almond, marzipan, orange blossom/honeysuckle and baked apricot skin.
Taste:
Baked apricot and apricot skin, an acidic mid-palate creates a gentle spice, followed by nectar-like sweetness.
Aftertaste:
Lingering apricot notes fade with gentle citrus acidity and spice.
Overall:
De Kuyper have a justified reputation for their Cherry Brandym and indeed their Apricot Brandy.
