Named after Hiram Walker (1816 –1899) an American grocer who in 1858 setup a distillery in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. His company became one of the biggest sellers of whiskey in America and after numerous takeovers, the Hiram Walker brand is owned by Pernod Ricard.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

(diluted to 43%) Musky, nutty angelica root is particularly evident on a piny juniper nose with lavender and camphor.

Taste:

Full-on juniper takes few prisoners with assertive pine and bitter citrus zest.

Aftertaste:

Even well diluted aggressive spicy finish.
