This bottle-conditioned English pale ale ale was originally brewed in 2005 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Nelson’s victory at the battle of Trafalgar. It is made using Cornish Gold malt with Styrian Golding and Cascade hops.

Appearance:

(best before 15-Jun-13) Clear, deep coppery amber with virtually no head.

Aroma:

Caramel, baguette crust and faint floral aroma.

Taste:

Caramel and raisin bready malt with stronger floral notes than the nose suggested and hint of nuts.

Aftertaste:

Orange marmalade and caramel.
