Launched in 2001, Golden Glory ale is flavoured with an extract of peach. Worryingly, it is packaged in a clear glass bottle.
Sampled on 15/12/2012
(sample best before end Oct-13) Clear, dark coppery amber.
Well-toasted bread crust with peach, watermelon and floral scents.
An ale with added fruit and that’s how its tastes – think British bitter with peach flavouring.
Fruity notes are still evident on the toasty, lightly bitter finish. Does what is says on the tin.
