Truman's Runner is brewed using Marris Otter ale malt, chocolate malt, crystal rye, wheat and a little dark crystal malt. Fuggles and Goldings hops are used at the start of the boil with Styrian Golding hops added late on. The beer is held in stores for a minimum of 7 days for conditioning.

Appearance:
Clear, amber with a white head that quickly dissipates.
Aroma:
There's a hint of farmyard dung to the nose with aromas of beefy stock cube and pine.
Taste:
Malt loaf palate with bitter chocolate and a dry hoppy, malty finish.
Aftertaste:
A good session beer.
