Appearance:

(sample bottled 22-Aug-13) Cloudy, deep amber with thin beige head and moderate lacing.

Aroma:

Lightly toasted malt with a Bovril-like brown sugar note and faint grapefruit hops.

Taste:

Medium/full bodied and bittersweet sweet with toasted earthy malt, caramel, Demerara sugar and pine sap.

Aftertaste:

Lingering citrus bitterness with slightly medallic hops.
