Review and Tasting

Sampled on 05/08/2013

Appearance:

Slightly hazy, coppery golden amber.

Aroma:

Crispy smoky bacon, old leather, charcoal and autumnal forest floor. An antique shop with an open log fire, smoky due to poor ventilation.

Taste:

Sweet apple wood smoke, nubuck leather and charcoal with burnt brown bread and sweet cracked black pepper.

Aftertaste:

Charcoal, apple wood and cinnamon spice. Polarising full-on sweet savoury smoke which a few will rave about – particularly bearded males who dominate love to barbeque.
