Adnams Copper House North Cove Vodka is distilled from East Anglian malted barley, wheat and oats using the same recipe and techniques used to make Adnams' Longshore Vodka. This is aged in new medium toast Russian oak casks in the Brewery's cellars for six months to produce this oak aged vodka.
Review and Tasting
Sampled on 08/07/2012
Appearance:
Clear, pale golden.
Aroma:
(diluted to approx. 43%) Buttery oak nose, with rolling tobacco, cracked coconut husk and fudge with faint vanilla and white chocolate.
Taste:
Dry, masculine, buttery oaky palate with vanilla and dry smoke. Perhaps a tad overly oaky for tender palates.
Aftertaste:
Nutty notes emerge in the long still very oak influenced, buttery mocha coffee finish.
