Part of Diageo’s 2013 Special Releases, this is the seventeenth in this series from Talisker Distillery. Aged in American oak refill casks filled 1985 and bottled at natural cask strength, just 3,000 individually numbered bottles were made available worldwide.

Appearance:
Clear, golden amber with antique gold tints.
Aroma:
Pear drops, baked apple and dried apple with dairy cream and elegant smokiness.
Taste:
Salty and sweet with dried apple and pear. Vegetal rather than smoky peat with dry oaky resins. Smoky notes amplify with water.
Aftertaste:
Pear, dark chocolate, cigar box and elegant smoke.
