This gluten free beer is appropriately named Celia, short for Celiac, a genetic disorder causing suffers to be intolerant to the gluten in wheat, rye and barley – the grains used to make most beers. Happily suffers can enjoy Celia beer which reassuringly carries the gluten free Crossed Grain symbol.
Celia is brewed from water, malted barley and Saaz hops and has no artificial carbonation. What sets Celia apart is that it contains less than 0.5mg per 100ml of gluten, so classifying it as gluten-free in the UK.
