Named for the people of the island 'Eyerlander', this top-fermented 'Amber' is brewed using dark roasted barley. Texels Eyerlander is unfiltered so expect a small amount of yeast sediment in the bottle. Best served in a beer goblet at 6º C.

Review and Tasting

Sampled on 03/01/2011

Appearance:

Cloudy, burnished copper-amber with small beige head.

Aroma:

Floral hoppy yeasty nose with slight luxury bar of soap aromas.

Taste:

Fruity, malty yeasty palate with well-judged hop bitterness.

Aftertaste:

Sweet stewed fruit balances pine bitterness in the cleansing finish.
