A spirit resembling a grappa but made with visciola cherries as well as grapes and water from Mount Nerone in the Le Marche region of Italy. This eau-de-vie is described as being distilled in the "old fashioned" way using a bain-marie - which we take to mean as a steam jacket-heated pot still.
