Blue Flame Washington Wheat whiskey is made from 100% winter white wheat grown under contract for the distillery by Neff Ranches. The whiskey is aged in 58 gallon Oregon Oak barrels, air dried and coopered in Oregon.

Review and Tasting

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Old leather, vanilla fudge, peacan pie and honey with hickory smoked almonds.

Taste:

Old leather, dry pecan nut, heavily toasted oak, bold spice and hickory smoke. Mouth puckeringly dry but with faint underlying sweetness.

Aftertaste:

Nutty finish with dry spice hickory smoke. Bags of new oak character on a precocious whiskey.
