The house beer of Selfridges department store which was founded on London's Oxford Street in 1909 by Harry Gordon Selfridge, hence the date quoted on the bottle’s label. This pale ale is brewed using English Maris Otter barley and Kent Goldings hops. It is bottled un-fined and unfiltered.

(sample best before 23/Sep/14) Hazy, mid golden amber with retentive thick cream tan head leaving heavy lacing.
Bready and yeasty with pine forest hops.
Creamy and full-bodied with brown bread, sweet dough balls, grapefruit zest and floral notes.
Lingering, moderately bitter hops.
