Zlati Grič Naravni Borovničevec is made by infusing blueberries from the Slovenian forest of Pohorje in brandy by a company that not only make wine and liqueurs, but are also fruit growers, operate a nine hole golf course set among the vines, a hotel and a restaurant.
Incidently, 'Naravni Borovnicevec' which apears on the label is Slovenian for nautral blueberry.
The company, Zlati Grič d.o.o., is based in Škalce, an idyllic countryside setting between the mountain Konjiško goro and Pohorje.
