A blend of rums distilled and laid down to age in 2004, 2005 and 2006. This includes Coffey still distillates matured in ex-bourbon and port casks, pot still rums and 50/50 blends of pot and Coffee still rums aged in ex-bourbon barrels. The final blend was married for 3 months prior to bottling.

1931 Second Edition was first released in 2012. The named refers to the year in which Dennery Distillery was founded in St. Lucia. The Dennery Distillery merged with the Roseau Bay Distillery in 1972 to form St Lucia Distillers.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery amber.

Aroma:

Pungent, treacle and vanilla fudge with walnuts, smouldering oak and nutmeg.

Taste:

Faintly sweet with a chewy mouthfeel. Toasty new American oak, grilled nuts, caramel, nutmeg, dried apricot and faint clove.

Aftertaste:

Long, dry finish with lingering toasty new American oak and nutty spice.
