This barley wine is the result of a collaboration between Shepherd Neame’s Stewart Main and Sigtuna Brygghus’ Emil Lindén.

Appearance:

(sample best before 02/Feb/16)Cloudy, deep chocolate brown with slight brick red tint. Thin but retentive beige head and light lacing.

Aroma:

Chocolate, mocha coffee, caramel and Bran Flake-like toasty cereal. Vinous, pickled onion-like whiff from high alcohol content.

Taste:

Stewed fruit, raisons, mocha coffee and chocolate with liquorice.

Aftertaste:

Vinous chocolate, caramel and lightly spicy finish.
