This spiced rum is based on the same blend of pot and column still rums as the original Chairman's Reserve Rum but is infused with Caribbean spices including cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, coconut, allspice, lemon and orange as well as an extract of the bark of the Richeria Grandis tree.

Richeria Grandis is known locally as Bois Bandé, which literally translates from French as 'stretched wood'.

Appearance:

Clear, bright golden orange amber.

Aroma:

Fruitcake, mandarin orange and dried apricot with cinnamon and clove.

Taste:

Gingerbread with warm cinnamon, clove and nutmeg spice, and citrus acidity wrapped in velvety vanilla.

Aftertaste:

Coconut, ginger and cinnamon spicy with mandarin and vanilla.

Overall:

Packed with warming, comforting flavours with generous spicy ginger and fruity mandarin. Perhaps one for your hip flask this winter.
