A single malt whiskey "aged and finished in various oak casks". Its makers, Santa Fe Spirits say they use a "very different type of smoked malt utilized by no other distillery in the world."
The casks are aged at 7,000 feet above sea level in the high desert in a climate-controlled warehouse "with temperatures ranging from freezing cold to swelteringly hot, and humidities ranging from bone dry to unbelievably damp."[sic]

(sample batch 4, bottle No. 1517) Clear, golden amber.
Toasty pencil shavings, earthy, charcoal and faint apple.
Dry and spicy, young oak, baked apple, ripe banana and pear with cinnamon and black pepper spice.
Lingering dry oak, spicy black pepper and red apple.
Exuberant, spicy and woody.
