This liqueur from Tosolini is flavoured with wild myrtle blueberries infused in neutral alcohol for four months. Known as bilberries these berries are often confused with blueberries.

Appearance:

Clear, deep crimson red with shades of purple and tiny bilberries in the bottle.

Aroma:

Pine forest freshness, blueberry and redcurrant jam.

Taste:

Jammy rich blueberry fruit balanced by citrus acidity, piney juniper-like flavours and cracked black pepper.

Aftertaste:

Blackberry and blueberry jammy fruit with fruit tannins.

Overall:

Jammy blueberry and redcurrant with notes of piney juniper and cracked black pepper spice.
