Launched in June 2015 with the strap line “The Spirit of The City”, The Dubliner is a blended Irish whiskey, which as the label proudly declares, is aged in ex-bourbon casks.

Appearance:

Clear, light to mid-honey golden.

Aroma:

New leather, cigar box and vanilla with red apple and light elegant white pepper spice.

Taste:

Light-bodied with sweet red apple, vanilla and mild spicy dry oak.

Aftertaste:

Vanilla, leather and light spice.

Overall:

This Irish blend appears to lack age and so complexity but is decent enough with notes of new leather, cigar box, vanilla and red apple.
