Appearance:

(sample BBE May/17) Cloudy, deep brown amber with thin but retentive off white head.

Aroma:

Bready malt, with yeast and faint piney hops.

Taste:

Medium to full-bodied. Lightly bitter with earthy herbal piney hops, more yeasty bready malt and faint stewed fruit.

Aftertaste:

Moderately bitter with herbal bready notes.

Overall:

Bready malt dominates this amber ale with attractive stewed fruit, yeasty notes and earthy herbal piney hops.
