Appearance:

(sample Jul/16) Clear, deep amber (SRM: 22) with a retentive ivory white head and stopped lacing.

Aroma:

Toasty malt, caramel and good piney hop aromas with chocolate digestive biscuits, orchard fruit, peppery spice and faint zesty grapefruit.

Taste:

Medium-bodied and dry with bitter resinous piney hops, zesty orange and toasty malt.

Aftertaste:

Dry piney hops and toasty malt finish.

Overall:

A Scottish amber ale with toasty malt, caramel and good piney hops.
