This single hop IPA is brewed exclusively Amarillo hops. Four different malts are used: Maris Otter Extra Pale, Wheat, Munich and Carapils. OG 1.056

Review and Tasting

Appearance:

(sample BB 28/Sep/16) Clear, coppery amber with thin but retentive ivory white head and heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Pine cones, mandarin zest, mango and floral chamomile aromas.

Taste:

Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Attractive apricot fruit with bitter zesty orange and grapefruit hops over a good malty base.

Aftertaste:

Long lingering bitter orange zest and piney hop resins.

Overall:

Tropical fruit IPA with attractive zesty mandarin and grapefruit and assertive piney hope resins.
