(sample bottle BB 15/Apr/16) Cloudy, deep brown amber with a thick but short-lived off-white head.
Aroma:
Toffee, caramel, dusty malt, milk chocolate.
Taste:
Medium-bodied. Dark caramel, light pine resinous hops. Faint chocolate and coffee.
Aftertaste:
Toffee and pine finish.
Overall:
Toffee and dark caramel dominates this brown ale with light resinous pine hops contributing welcome bitterness. Faint chocolate and coffee.
