Introduced in October 2016 and made in limited releases of 1,500 bottles each, Hayman's English Cordial Gin is replicates a sweetened style of gin enjoyed in the 1800s – the sweetness helped mask the relatively poor quality of base distillate used at the time.

Made with Hayman's signature blend of 10 botanicals: juniper berries, coriander seed, nutmeg, cinnamon, angelica root, orris root, cassia bark, liquorice, Spanish orange and lemon peel.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Piney juniper and spice dominate this gin's clean nose, with whiffs of liquorice, zesty citrus and nutty angelica.

Taste:

Slightly sweet but with balancing dry piney juniper and spice. The sweetness amplifies classic London dry flavours.

Aftertaste:

Long classic gin finish smoothed by subtle sweetness.

Overall:

All the classic London dry flavour and character presented as a well-balanced liqueur. Enjoyable just sipped neat but also a versatile cocktail ingredient.
