Appearance:

(sample bottle BBE Apr/18) Crystal clear with quickly rising bubbles.

Aroma:

Basil with cucumber skin-like scents and faint ripe pomegranate.

Taste:

Delicate basil and candied/jammy pomegranate with light citric acid, cracked black pepper and high carbonation.

Aftertaste:

Pleasant lingering basil, faint pomegranate fruitiness and very light acidity.

Overall:

Basil notes are more pronounced than the pomegranate but neither are convincingly real. Well-balanced faint sweetness and light acidity, and with a pleasant savoury note.
