Brewed with Pilsner Malt, Wheat Malt and Caragold using lager yeast and hopped with Pilgrim, El Dorado and Styrian Goldings hops. Dry hopped and lagered for 40 days.

Appearance:

(sample can best before 02/Jan/18) Cloudy, sandy amber with a moderately thick retentive off-head and light lacing.

Aroma:

Cereal, hay and light zesty citrus.

Taste:

Light to medium-bodied with cereal and hay maltiness, moderately bitter grassy and citrusy hops.

Aftertaste:

Moderately bitter white bread crust and light grassy hop finish.

Overall:

The strapline “lagered beer with a hopload of attitude” suggest Lawless has pronounced hop bitterness – a hop bomb of a lager. Don’t let that put you off. Yes its hoppy, but this pilsner is far from overly hopped.
