Review and Tasting

Sampled on 25/11/2017

Appearance:

(sample bottle best before 31/Jul.18) Crystal clear with rising bubbles.

Aroma:

Quinine, minerality and faint zesty lemon.

Taste:

Clean with cleansing quinine bitterness balanced by subdued sugar sweetness with light citrus acidity. Moderate carbonation.

Aftertaste:

Lingering quinine dryness with light citric acidity and faint confected lemon.

Overall:

Aptly titled a “Crisp Tonic Water” this is clean and dry with cleansing quinine bitterness, although those quinine notes are a touch restrained compared to previous Schweppes Tonic Water incarnations.
