Appearance:
Pale gold.
Aroma:
Soft, approachable nose of salty smoked haddock with aromas of coal, tar, charcoal and soap.
Taste:
The sooty, minerally palate has wafts of smoke but not intensely so and is mildly disappointing compared to the nose.
Aftertaste:
The dry finish features light cedar smoke.
