Review and Tasting

Sampled on 07/01/2018

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden with minimal head.

Aroma:

Cooked sweet corn with faint grassy and lemony hops.

Taste:

Light-bodied. Clean and cleansing, with light white bread and sweet corn maltiness and faint lemongrass hops.

Aftertaste:

Dry and very clean. Faint grassy and lemony hops.

Overall:

This English lager is light-bodied, superbly clean, refreshing and hard to fault. However, that cleansing lightness means this lager is also light on character. Great on a sunny afternoon or as a cleansing beer at the end of an evening.
