Savvy Gin is distilled and bottled on a farm in Alentejo, Portugal using fresh lemons and tangerines immediately after harvest, along with 18 other botanicals:

Review and Tasting

Appearance:

(sample bottled Sep/17, batch 04, bottle No. 358) Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Pungent citrus and floral aromas with eucalyptus, pine, overripe banana, lavender and balsawood-like nuttiness.

Taste:

A very full and generously flavoured dry gin (which could have been cut with more neutral spirit prior to hydration), perhaps too intense in flavour for some.

Aftertaste:

The long dry finish has generous piny juniper, liquorice, lavender and light spice.

Overall:

Savvy is a very generously flavoured gin with a high concentration of botanicals. Piney juniper, floral and citrusy notes are most obvious. Dilutes well to make a flavoursome G&T but perhaps dilute back for a Martini.
